Is there such a thing as the soul? If so, what is it? Or does the universe just consist of matter?

If we were to take the difficult route to say everything is not just mere matter, that consciousness can’t be reduced just to the brain, how do body and soul interact? (Or how does consciousness come from neurons, if neurons are the cause?)

And if there is such a thing as a body and a soul, are they rivals? Or are they linked already?

I don’t know the answers, but I’d like to ask these questions in this section.
